When my Korean friends married, I noticed they were gifted the traditional Korean geese, and I was hoping to one day get those.

My female goose has a little green ribbon tied around her bill- a little note that came with them explained that this was to keep her from nagging her husband too much. Well- I don't think it stopped me.
The geese are a symbol of faithfulness because they mate for life- even if the spouse dies. Even though we both told each other we should remarry if anything happened to either of us- I am thinking a lot these days about that kind of faithfulness.
